We are delighted to announce that two of our creatives have won first prize in the UK Cannes Young Lions competition, giving them the chance to represent the UK at the Global Young Lions Competition in 2021, where creative talent aged under 30 compete to be recognised as the world’s best.
Samantha Banner and Emma Bromley had a weekend to respond to a brief by the Advertising Association in one of six categories; design, digital, film, marketers, media or print. Both being copywriters, they felt the print category suited their specialisms best and got to work creating a print ad that encouraged people from different diverse backgrounds to work in the creative industries.
They’ll be given another brief to answer within 24 hours at the Global Young Lions Competition in Cannes next year, competing against the best young creative talent from around the world to be crowned the global Young Lions winners.
Sam and Emma can’t wait to head to the Cannes Lions Festival 2021;
“We are absolutely thrilled to represent the UK at the Global Young Lions competition in Cannes. There’s so much young creative talent in the UK, so it’s a real honour to have been chosen to compete against the best young talent from around the world.”
