In 2019, ZEAL welcomed Mid Weight Designer, Dannielle Wood to the design team.
After having graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (HONS) in Graphic & Communication Design, Dannielle began her career as a creative. Prior to ZEAL, she spent 5 years working as a Graphic Designer specialising mainly in the hospitality sector. Dannielle worked closely with large restaurant chain brands such as Bella Italia, Café Rouge, CDG Dining Group and The Firoka Group, as well as creating and developing brands for smaller businesses from logo generation to menu design.
In her time at ZEAL, Dannielle has already worked on a number of campaigns for clients such as Arla LactoFree, Pringles, Quorn, Nestle and SMA, to name just a few.
Dannielle is also responsible for the stunning Christmas bee light sculpture that has taken pride of place in Manchester’s St Peter’s Square over this festive season – a design she worked on at a previous company over 3 years ago, which has finally been brought to life in the centre of the city!
Dannielle talks about her time at ZEAL so far;
“Zeal embodies a quote that I always try and live by: ‘Don’t stop until you’re proud’. Every day brings new and exciting challenges, which I love. To come into such a lively, positive and upbeat studio every day is a pleasure. The team are dynamic, creative, and I am so happy I get to say I am a designer at Zeal! I cannot wait to take on more projects and develop my design skills further.”
Outside of work, Dannielle is busy being a crazy dog mum to Harley, learning to play tennis and watching her favourite sport Moto GP.
She often spends her weekends at the gigs and the theatre, and loves spending time illustrating, reading classic literature and wandering round exhibitions – she recently discovered a new favourite, a Quentin Blake exhibition in Liverpool.
