Last month the BBC Bitesize film crew visited ZEAL HQ to capture a day in the life of our Senior Art Director, Darren Grzesiak.

The BBC Bitesize team wanted to gain an insight into the world of a Senior Art Director and their role within a creative agency, from working with account handlers, designers and even clients to bring concepts to life, and transform genius ideas into award-winning campaigns.

BBC Bitesize is an online platform that provides educational resources for school students aged 6 to 16. With around 750,000 users per week, Bitesize offers students help with coursework, homework, exam preparation and career advice. Helping young people to explore a wide variety of career options, the website features short videos to explain the world of work, with advice from people who’ve found the right path for them.

During their visit, the film crew captured Daz and the Creative team brainstorming ideas, creating scamps, and working with the Design team to bring their ideas to life, as well as exploring Daz’s personal journey to ZEAL.

Over the next couple of months, ZEAL will also be taking part in the Bitesize Schools Tour, a fantastic project that sees the BBC Bitesize team take to the road to deliver a series of hour-long career sessions to secondary school children in the North of England.

Six members of the ZEAL team will be heading to schools across Greater Manchester, conducting question and answer sessions with students and showcasing the huge range of possibilities available to young people in our Northern Powerhouse.

We’re certain Daz’s feature will open up a world of career possibilities for aspiring young creatives, and hopefully inspire the next generation of ZEALers!
