The worldwide marketing effectiveness awards, ‘The Effies’, has revealed its award winners for 2020 and ZEAL is very proud to be recognised as a finalist in the Shopper Marketing category.
The Effies are The World’s No.1 marketing effectiveness awards and agencies across the globe enter their best campaigns every year to prove what they do actually works.
No other awards scheme focusses so heavily on EFFECTIVENESS. The entry process alone involves creating an entire case study of your work with a forensic level of detail on the results and the delivery of your client’s objectives. After an initial shortlisting process, the best case studies are judged in two stages by panels of industry experts and clients who analyse all aspects of campaigns to identify those that were truly effective.
The standards are exceptionally high as all campaigns are essentially judged against global benchmarks to identify the very BEST OF THE BEST across the world.
This year only 13 UK campaigns were deemed to be worthy of finalist status and ZEAL is thrilled that our ‘Make a Break For It’ campaign for Nestlé’s KitKat® brand was amongst the winners.
This disruptive campaign created sales value increases for Nestlé KitKat® of 20% by bringing some summer escapism into supermarkets to delight shoppers in the depths of the British winter!
The success was made all the sweeter by the fact that this is the first time a shopper marketing campaign has ever been named as an Effie finalist in the UK.
