Meet ZEAL’s new Strategic Planner, Danielle Jackson.
Danielle joined ZEAL in October following over 5 years working within the Planning function at CreativeRace, an integrated agency in Leeds.
Having graduated in 2013, with a first-class honours degree in Creative Advertising from Leeds College of Art, Danielle began her career as a creative/copywriter, before joining CreativeRace in 2014 as an Insight Executive. She then progressed to Senior Planning Executive, and finally Strategy Manager before joining ZEAL in October as our new Strategic Planner.
Danielle has a wealth of industry experience, having worked on projects for clients spanning a range of industries including retail, the third-sector, property, food and insurance.
Prior to ZEAL, Danielle has worked on projects for a huge range of clients, including Asda – core grocery, Asda Opticians, Asda Money and Asda Mobile – Greggs, Costcutter, Pets at Home, Halfords, John Cotton, Ярче (Yarche!), Sheffield Children’s Hospital, NFU Mutual, Harringtons, British Gypsum, Beyond Housing, Story Homes, Holiday Inn, Derby City Council and Bradford City Council.
Danielle loves her role in Planning. She enjoys the way it challenges her to think both analytically and creatively, and it also indulges her sense of curiosity – finding out the reasons ‘why’ behind the what.
Danielle talks about her time at ZEAL so far;
“This is my second month at ZEAL but it feels like I’ve been here for longer. The whole team have been incredibly warm and welcoming – not only since my first day but even in the lead up to joining. It’s been busy since I’ve started which has been great for me because it’s already given me the opportunity to work across projects for existing clients and for new business. I’ve joined a fantastic team at a really ambitious agency so I’m excited for what’s to come.”
Callum Saunders, Head of Planning, is glad to welcome Danielle to the team;
“Planning and strategy is a really key focus for our business, and it’s been a genuine pleasure to welcome Danielle into our burgeoning team. Danielle has a diverse range of experience and a real flair for insight. Her ability to articulate her findings and inspire the creative and account teams has really impressed me. She’s fitted into the team effortlessly and has already applied her rational thinking and sharp observations across a number of critical client projects. I look forward to watching Danielle flourish at ZEAL.”
Danielle loves to get out of the city and can often be found trekking around the Peak District getting her boots muddy. She loves to read and tries make sure she’s always reading a broad range of genres.
